I’ll be at the Airsoft Arms Fair on the 22nd of May 2010 and I’ll be providing the following;

Internet Cafe:
There will be a minimum of 6 internet connected PC’s with 17″ LCD screens, optical mice etc running a customised version of Fedora Linux.

I’ll also be providing additional WiFi in the bar area and geography permitting will hopefully extend the WiFi to the the outside stalls etc for those of you with SmartPhones / Netbooks etc.

Posters:
I’ll have a collection of A0 (1.2m x 0.9m) gloss finish posters of the Airbana UK Skirmish Map.

Augmented Reality Demo:
I’ll be adding all of the Stall locations including their details into the Augmented Reality Layar software so people can see how the software works in real life (and if you download and install the Layar app (Android, Windows, Blackberrry and iPhone) before you get to the Event you’ll be able to see where everything is in real time.

BoomBox Project Demo:
The BoomBox project is a spin off from the RFID tracker project and is inspired by the BattleField Bad Company 2 Rush Mode / Counter Strike Bomb mode. I’ll release more details closer to the time.

SMS Details:
I’m still working on this one but I’m working on a system that will allow you to send a text to 83010 with the message airbana aaf (which will cost 20p) and then this will add you to an announcement list for the day (we’ll delete all numbers at the end of the day). If and when stuff happens (be it a product demo, raffle draw etc etc) we’ll text you (these ones will be free) to let you know what is happening!
