A blog that covers the development of the Airbana Airsoft applications
The first revision of Airbana Mobile has been released.
This websites functionality is based solely on the Airbana API which means anything it can do you can do too!
It has been tested on Windows Mobile, Symbian, IPhone and a bunch of others.
The region specific features will go live when Airbana Version 4 is up and running.
The Airbana.com and Airbana.eu voting pages received over 1400 unique votes in the 2 weeks they’ve been up (many more duplicate votes!) so I’m pleased to announce that Airbana will be going international with the release of Version 4!
You’ll also be seeing YouTube integration, Recaptcha use, Weather reports, 2 way SMS, Snap Links and much much more!
Although this is technically a Version 4 release item it hasn’t required a major change to the V3 code base so I’m pleased to announce the release of the Airbana TomTom POI File!
This rar file is updated every 30 minutes with the data pulled live from the Airbana Database!
More updates and more features are on the way!
With the first demo run of the Airbana RFID Skirmish Tracker fast approaching I’ve released a quick 1 minute long intro video:
Airbana.com and Airbana.eu have been registered and feature the ability to vote for the development of either.
It’ll be a bit of a longhaul as the DB will have to be redesigned to cope with the varying regions as will the Website code although if the demand is there I believe it will be worth it!
The more votes it gets the higher on my todo list I’ll put it.
So please, tell your fellow Skirmishers, post it about forums, if you have language skills please let non-english Websites / forums know and hopefully we can build the most accurate Airsoft map on the Internet!
Its been just over a year since Airbana the community powered Airsoft Mapping project launched and I’m pleased to say that with everyone’s help this is now the most up to date Airsoft map of Sites in the UK!
As the Airsoft Map below shows there are loads of sites in the UK now with more being added every month!
As part of Airbana’s continued development I’ll soon be disclosing details of the upcoming 3.3 release which should include requested features such as Update History, write access to the API and much more.
I’ll also be revealing the latest Skirmish feature that ties into Airbana in a way that will change the way you think about Capture the Flag / King of the Hill type games.
